PowerZest Energy Solutions, Founder

July 2019 - Present, 8 months

  •  I do not wish to give fancy titles, but yes we made it. We have incorporated our final year bachelors project Adaptable Disc Wind Turbine into a clean tech company.
  • I serve as a sleeping partner and spearhead the research and development of the technology. My partner Avinash Gupta leads the company, with two other co founders in Mumbai, India.
  • We are waiting for office action on our patent and have recently signed a PCT agreement. Our start up is incubated at TIDES accelerator at IIT Roorkee. We have been offered INR 2.5 Million (USD 35,000) in equity investment for which we have signed the term sheet, recently we have also hired two interns for CFD analysis and completing due diligence with suppliers.  

Advantage Accelerator Intern

March 2019 - Present, 11 months

  •  My contribution has benefited the company in researching business viability of technologies, performing market surveys, market research and industry analysis of competition.
  • My day to day activities involve due diligence process for new clients, generate market overview reports, review pro forma documentation and assisting the business accelerator in bringing innovations to the market, alongside training new interns.
  •   I have worked with over 12 different companies ranging from geriatric industry to OEM software products to stressed agriculture to chemical and mechanical design industry giving me a robust firsthand experience in the nuts and bolts of a wide range of industries.

Technology Commercialization Consultant

April - June 2019, 3 months

  • I worked with Siliprin as a consultant for technology commercialization and provided in-depth market research & analysis.
  • Siliprin is a deep tech OSU start-up that makes 3D printers which can print flexible Silicone components, I worked along with 3 other consultants on formulating go-to market strategy, competitor analysis and other commercialization channels for securing early customers.
  • I worked on customer expectation grid, SWOT, PESTEL, Determinant Gap Matrix, Strategy Canvas, VRIO, MARCOM, Buyer Utility Map and Sales Bridge as a part of the final deliverable.

Air India Intern

Dec 2015 - Jan 2016, 2 months

  • Air India internship allowed me to peep into the super competitive aviation industry and learn about the business decisions made whilst selecting new technologies and services in airline industry.
  • The on-job practical training in Base Maintenance Division acquainted me with design and flight principles along with several maintenance procedures and non destructive testing methodologies. 

MAHAGENCO Intern

Dec 2015 - Jan 2016, 2 months

  • Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) is a gas turbine power plant located in Uran, India. 
  • The internship gave me a first hand experiencing in studying the operations of a massive power plant along with acquainting me with gas turbine working, trouble shooting, electrical energy generation and distribution. 
  • I was able to study oil and gas industry and electrical distribution network.

Scholar Host

March - May 2019, 3 months

  • I was selected as a scholar host for USAID program to host scholars from international university as a part of their term transfer program. 
  • I managed logistic requirements, managed several events and guest talks for scholars and due diligence for a group of 6 scholars.
