Patent & P.C.T.
Our team patented one of kind wind turbine design that was developed as a part of our final year bachelor's project in mechanical engineering in India. I have worked on drafting the entire patent application. We have signed non disclosures with mentors in Oregon State University and other project mentors and recently signed a P.C.T. agreement for securing IP protection outside India. Since the project is currently being developed by my partners in India, I am not disclosing any information that can jeopardize the commercialization potential.
Publications
I co authored the paper titled 'Multifunctional Robot for Fault Detection in Pipeline', which describes a robot that was capable of travelling inside the pipeline for detecting cracks and reporting back to the control center through various wireless channels. The image shows the prototype constructed with an Infra Red sensor in front that is detecting the crack (green light indication).
The second paper that I have co authored describes the experiment that was conducted on our patent pending wind turbine, as mentioned earlier, the information cannot be shared at this time.
Honors / Achievements
I am successful in drafting and securing grant from VentureWell organization for $5000 for developing our innovative disc turbine. My project 'Idea Validation Platform' cleared first round of Next Great Startup Competition and I was awarded $10,000 work Amazon Web Credits. I was asked to judge 'OSU's Best New Idea Competition' twice by College of Business. Our teams project on fault detection robot was appreciated in Transform Maharashtra, a state level project competition in India and I was honored as PROMISING INNOVATOR by distinguished jury for my project Air Electro Hybrid Car (refer project section for more information).
Awards
Our team secured 1st place in Smart India Hackathon Hardware Edition 2018 for our innovative turbine project and secured INR 100,000 along with securing 2nd place at inter college competition. I secured honorable idea and won $500 cash prize for my startup business idea fingerly. Our team's another project Air Electro Hybrid Car secured 4 awards in various project exhibition competitions. I was awarded Campus Innovator award by my undergraduate college for the same project.
